Keith ... I wonder whether it would be lighter or heavier? You'd think 
heavier, but I'm not sure. Either way, adding HP can't hurt. How about 
an A+ engine with turbo? A Judson would fit more with the woody theme 
though.

Cost would have to be no issue, so you're right about that.

I'm wondering about the GT hatch. Isn't the problem with the lines of 
Spridget hardtops that there isn't as much head clearance as in B's, so 
that they have to bubble up? Either way, this is just a question of 
taste. The hatch would just be all wood.

If you're going to bother fooling with wood, there's no point just 
tacking it on, as they did to make the Traveller. The wood needs to be 
part of the structure. The real question is how much steel/how much 
plywood to use in the panels.

As for no merit ... take this to a couple woody shows (complete with 
teardrop and the right accessories, whatever those are -- English 
surfer? Australian maybe! -- like Moonlight Beach in Encinitas) and 
watch how fast it would end up on magazine covers!

First stop would be Photoshop.
