Two years ago when I first got my '77 back on the road, I bought new,
stock 1500 springs for the front of my Midget, to cure the usual
driver's side lean. They were from either Moss or one of their
resellers. It did work. However, over the last two years the front of
the car has sagged noticeably, probably 1 - 2", such that I no longer
can get my jack with a block on it under the front crossmember. Along
with this, the front feels very soft. Like Cadillac soft.
Now, I like the lower stance. But I need to restore the firmness of the
front end. So does anyone have a recommendation of a QUALITY performance
spring? One that won't go soft after a couple of years? One that will
give a good, taut feeling to the front end?
