Side Curtain Help - Quick Question

Hi - 

I am trying to avoid spending a bit over 400 bucks with Moss to get decent 
side curtains.   I have 4 frames with the plastic in bad shape on all of them.  
The seals are gone as well. 

I know that the seals can be replaced. .  but what about the plastic slider 
windows? 

There is no way to split these - to get the plastic "clear" sliders out?   

Has anyone rebuilt these before?   Or, can it be done?
