I don't use Simple Green either.  I bought a bottle a long time ago and
didn't like the results.  I think there's a committee that finds anything
that works well and declares it unsafe for the environment.  Freon 12,
Trichloroethane, good old fashioned carb cleaner, etc.  Meanwhile people
spray "approved" pest controls that kill fish and wildlife 30 miles away.
Go figure.
