Hello guys and gals! (Hopefully that covers just about everyone!)
I'm new here on the Spridget list as I just picked up a 73 Midget.
I've only driven it around the neighborhood a few times so far but
Wow! This is going to be FUN!
I was on the TR list for quite a number of years until a few years ago
when I parted with my 58 TR3, and it's nice to see some of the names I
remember still kicking it up on here!
I've looked back through what of the archives I've been able to devote
time and eyesight to read but still am not sure on a few things so I'm
asking for the benefit of your collective wisdom.
I'm new to the Midget and of all things could benefit from finding a
link to something describing the various dash lights and switches - is
there a PDF of the owners handbook available somewhere I haven't been
able to find yet via Google?
I'm sure it's an oft asked question, but I haven't found anything in
the recent archives yet, so here goes ... my biggest need right now,
is advice as to what size tires others are running on the Midgets
these days. Seems the PO fitted whatever he could find as I've
literally got 3 different sized tires on the car right now!
I'm hoping to use my Midget as a nearly-daily-driver outside of the
winter months and prefer a mildly-spirited driving style. Any replies
as to what specific tires you've run with good luck, as well as what
to avoid, would also be pleasantly received.
