I'd be interested in the life of the axle (half) shafts and diff pinion gears
for the method you describe of achieving negative camber on a live axle.
A good friend had a 71 Midget right out of high school. During one of his
drinking days he ended up putting it into a guardrail on the highway. It
suffered some body damage but the rear axle was way bent!!! He drove it for
years like that. The car was retired when the body was gone from rust. Never
drive a spridget on the beach at Daytona.
