Where in the world did you find that? All I get is "Page not found"

I don't know what that page says, but others I found just described "high
winds" and "tornado-LIKE" winds. Tornado-like. That's what we call "dust
devils".

As far as what the media or "people" saw, your guess is as good as mine.
You should see some of horrors people are describing today!

"everyone was pretty cool except for this gay guy that had never experienced
an earthquake. He ran out like a little girl waving his hands. I think he is
still shaken."

"My whole world was shaking."

"it got my adrenaline pumping."

"all the cars bouncing like lowriders was scary too."

"Very exciting yet scary."

"omg I was so scared and speech less"

"Oh Baby, it never felt like this before!"

"I was pretty shaken up and frightened"

"this woman dropped to the floor and was screaming and freaking out throwing
fists everywhere."

"i'm totally freaking out that earthquake was horrible... I"

And the one that says so much about these kind of people:

"i was like sooooo scared. i was like totally freaking out and my skin is
still crawling.Oh My God! I just want to keep talking about it."

What was gratifying was to see what some people were saying about the media
hysterics:

"I don't know whats worse- this outrageous over-the-top coverage by the OCR
of the small earthquake, or the fact that they posted on the homepage as
"breaking news" that the Angels acquired some new player."

"The front headline says, "...how to COPE with the earthquake". OMG...this
wasn't hurricane katrina or a tornado that tore into Irvine. LAME!!"

"Of course if you watched MSNBC you'd think L.A. slipped off into the
channel and Rodan had entered downtown"

"I hope it doesn't rain a tenth of an inch tonight. Then we'd have 'Storm
Watch 08' vs. 'Earthquake Rocks SoCal' vying for top story."

"Every single news service in Southern California is acting like we've
never had an earthquake before. Nothing collapsed and nobody's dead. Calm
down, folks."

"Well sure, but this happens every time we have even a minor quake. The
media throws up a "BREAKING NEWS!" banner to track down folks to interview
who talk about a "rolling motion," and who "heard some car alarms go off."
If there's damage, sure, report about that, but the world doesn't have to
stop because of a little shaking."

That MUST be it, cause we haven't had a tornado in Anaheim."

You mean 5/22/2008, 11/9/1982 and 11/7/1966 were just in the imagination of
all people who saw them? ;-)
