Jim,

You and I had identical experiences... For me it was 3:00 am in a C-141
Starlifter but at Vandenberg AFB. They put us on a bus and took us straight
to the BX which they had opened in the middle of the night! There we were
given chits to buy and don civilian clothes. We were not to leave base in
uniform!! It was 2 days later in LaGuardia airport before I got spit on and
cursed as a "Baby Killer". Were you a baby killer too? Fun wasn't it!

Cheers!!
Jim
