1098 and 1275 forks are the same.  948s are different.
948 & 1098 slaves take the 3/8-24 steel line and are 7/8 bore. 1275 
take the 7/16 - 20 hose and are 1" bore.
The throw isn't different until you throw it.
You're setup should be fine, but use the 1275 slave for better pedal 
feel. Best is to run a 1/4" pipe back to the master and adapt to the 
3/8" fitting there.
