Hello Michael,
It is my understanding that the newer ones just don't last as
long as the OEM stuff. I don't know if it's the quality of the
carbon, (jeepers, how can one skimp on a basic element?) or the
thickness supplied or what but you are not the first to complain
abut the short life new T.O. Bearings. Many people have said that
they have NEVER worn out an OEM one. Try to locate an old one,
as from what I've heard old, used ones will outlast the new ones
being supplied today.
