My concern was basically safety and cost. Every one of my 8 parts cars 
with wire wheels has at least one wheel with at least one broken spoke. 
No telling how many others are damaged, loose, bent, or otherwise a 
safety hazard. Most of those wheels have taken 40 or 50 years of abuse 
by DPOs.

However, I definitely will keep the brand new tires and wire wheels on 
my Bugeye in good shape and check them often. Yes, like many of us, they 
just look so darn right on our style car.
