Paul & all,

We will definately doing some cooking the ritualistic Team Thicko animal
sacrifices to the racing gods.

I'm glad to hear Rick will be there. (More Sprite spare parts perhaps?)

With Jim (AKA Elmo Mancini) Donato having to back out for family reasons, we'll
be a little light on the signage. Jim's red trailer has the TT logo on the
side. Jim is also the keeper of the TT flag. Ever since Gary (AKA Black Bart)
borrowed the TT banner its been MIA... so people will have to follow the
smells of the charcoal grills to find us.

Ask Rick about the time the entire traler hitch assembley fell off his
motorhome, eh? (See, eh? I'm talkin' Canadian already...)

And special thanks goes to Gary Speckman for painting that target on my back
with his long-winded disertation on me and the Red Rat. Mosport will be my
firsr race this season... and I only raced once last season. The Red Rat's on
its 4th (or 5th) season without a freshening, so my goal for the weekend is to
be running at the end, not setting any lap records. I asked what decent laps
times and lap records were just to compare my times and fear level on an
unfamiliar track with those that run it regularly.

Gary gave me a set of the earliest comp axles to use. The splines at the cap
end were pretty tired... and there's no provision on the cap to stop oil from
slinging past the worn splines. I attempted to drill the end of the axle to
intall a washer and gasket to seal the ends... but a cobalt bit wouldn't even
scratch it. So I welded the caps to the axles. I have no idea whether this will
work, or if I've destroyed the heat treating... but the axles were junk any
way... and since my car is too, well...

So, bring those spare axles boys!

I expect to get there late afternoon Thursday.

See y'all.
