Tiger Tom sells these little pumps, and along with some sort of rubber isolaters
for them.  At the moment, I find the sound reassuring when I can hear it.

Vibration and noisiness is the biggest complaints I've heard about 
these pumps.  I've also heard that this can be reduced somewhat by 
using rubber mounting bushings.
