1965 Mk 1, No chg of ownership for years, DMV fees $46 - but my '64 Cooper
S is $146; it has gone down since I bought it 5 years ago and the value
(cost?) was the driver.  Yours must have changed hands in the last few
years but fees should slowly reduce with time.

PS Congratulations to ThrustSSC for their world Land Speed record today -
(714.144 m/h).  BTW a Sunbeam Tiger driven by Henry Seagrave held the
record at 152 m/h in 1926.
