Jim,

If it is the bearing on the input shaft, don't worry. The bearing is
easy to obtain, and not expensive. What other bearings and seals are
also close to replacement is another matter. Not to worry, they are not
expensive either. The entire bearing/seal/gasket/etc. kit is only about
$150-$200 bucks.

Now, removing the transmission and putting them in, is another matter
entirely.
