Tried to post this last week, but something happened to my list e-mail so I
couldn't. Now it's fixed, so here's the posting.
I just can't understand the thinking of the TU Event organizers. I called to
inquire about having two non-Tiger owners join Ed and me for dinner on
Saturday, no other events or dining. The answer I got floored me, so I
checked again thinging I'd heard wrong. No way. The price for one person at
the Saturday dinner, no entree choice, no drinks is $35.00!!! This is the cost
of a market-price lobster dinner at any good restaurant. Are we trying to
gouge people to make up for some kind of short fall?
Obviously, Ed and I will probably be skipping this outrageously priced dinner
to eat with our friends elsewhere. Too bad, as these are good people, friends
of many Tiger owners, and they would have enjoyed the dinner.
