If your Tiger doesn't feel solid as a rock at 70mph, then I can't believe
it has anything to do with an air dam, or lack thereof. Loose suspension
components like ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. could be a problem. Soft
springs and/or shocks could the problem as well. Check the alignment;
toe-in, caster and camber. And, of course, a good set of well balanced
tires is essential. With my SHO, the original shocks were too soft, which
gave me what I might describe as a "floating" sensation at speeds over
70mph. Replaced them with Tokico struts and this solved the problem. Your
problem could be this simple too, or the accumulation of a lot of little
problems such as I have mentioned. I would go through all of these points
systematically before bolting on any quick-fix cure.
