Had one of those "Oh God!!" moments in the Tiger the other day. Because
of what I now have learned is brake fluid leaking into the booster and
getting sucked into the motor, I was innocently driving into a parking
lot (which is about as innocent as it gets in a Tiger), and suddenly this
HUGE billow of white smoke engulfs the entire car (and me, and about
three bystanders, as well) . Needless to say, I just about had a heart
attack!
The fact that I was driving into the parking lot of a tree-hugging health
food market did not help, as I had several Birkenstock-wearing customers
literally screaming at me in the parking lot!! Needless to say, I
high-tailed it out of there!! Now I know how the witches felt in Salem!!
(And I like trees, too!)
Kinda funny, now that I think about it (and especially now that I know
that the engine didn't blow up in a car that I unfortunately need to
sell!).
I hope the booster rebuild kits aren't back ordered!
