Tim,

I am truly sorry that you found those directions too complex.  The task is 
simple
enough, but it does take a few words to describe it thoroughly, with alternates
for different situations.  If I had pictures, I could save words.

If you are truly "disassembled with no directions", and the hood catch 
directions
are too complex, please get a Workshop Manual, and many rare books and club Tech
Notes on Tiger lore.  The Tiger is not easy to work on and get it right.  Even
Rootes had problems.

In fact, I know of NO information in existence to align the hood catch, or the
hood, and many, many frustrated owners who were 'locked out' of their own engine
compartment.

I certainly hope someone finds it useful.
