Tim with the V6 boiler here.

So after talking to Joe Rodrigues, it was figured out that I should 
have put in a heavy duty 3 or 4 core radiator 9as others have 
mentioned), and not just slap in the old radiator.  I am ignorant and 
not ashamed of it!  Joe also said that my fan seems to be too far 
away from the radiator.  He suggested I also get a shroud made to 
create sort of a wind tunnel.  The car will also tend to run hotter 
while it is breaking in after the rebuild. He said a customer in 
Bakersfield did the above (with no electric fan) and hasn't had a 
problem since.  Tomorrow I shall call the radiator shop.  Thanks for 
all the advice.  I'm certainly learning.

Now I need to figure out why my battery isn't charging.  That seems 
pretty straight forward though.  I believe there's a wire that goes 
 from the alternator, to the ammeter, and then somehow to the battery.
