Steve and Listers,

First off thanks to everyone who responded to my message!

Didn't the manufacturer paint the inside of the tanks? It could be that the 
PO painted them. I've only had the car a year, but I am the second owner. I 
get so much junk in the filter it has to be the paint. I have to get the 
paint out because the fuel lines are clogging. No amount of in-line filters 
will fix that.
