greetings all, i have a few questions i'm hoping the list can answer, i've done
some archiving but to no real avail. as original colors go, does anyone know
what actual color "tudor light blue" is, for the washer bottle basket on a mark
ll? (and i think MK 1A) and secondly, i need some "old ford dark blue" for the
'67 block, i have heard different theories on this color and hope to get the
real answer! #566 ford mercury blue? ford corporate blue? old ford blue? are
these perhaps all the same color? i'm aware of the light blue ford engine paint
which seems so universal, i'm just trying to decipher the confusion around the
dark blue color. and the last and perhaps dumbest question on color: had a good
read through my BON and couldn't find out if the transmission was ever
originally painted or not. was it left unpainted?
as part numbers go, i'm looking for the original ford part numbers for the
harmonic balancer, water pump, starter, flywheel and/or starter ring gear for
the '67 tiger 289 (C5AE-6015) block. i'm also looking to buy some of these
parts if anyone has any to sell. appreciate any ideas, thanks! sean
