Just thought I might add that if the "infared-ed area" looks all the same
(brightness), see if you can manually iris the camera down to discern
differences in temperature. Often in dark situations cameras with auto iris
will open the iris completely. If the iris has any effect on what is being
viewed in infared then manually adjusting towards the closed position MIGHT
give better results. Just a thought from a guy who has spent 25 years as a
