Scott,

While the Tiger does not have a stock voltmeter, it did have an optional
ammeter that most have. What is your ammeter saying?

My other cars, that do have a volt meter, all read near 13.5-13.8 volts
as a normal operating voltage, and rather constant.

I do suspect a bad gauge or alternator.

Is your battery running OK and starting the car briskly? Are your
headlights dim? Do they brighten considerably off idle speed?
