I didn't quite say it right.  I had only the dip stick
chromed.  I left the tube untouched.  You are right
about reverse chroming the dip stick.  But first
I want to scope things out when I have the pan off.

The dip stick I am using came from another Tiger
motor and matches perfectly the one I had chromed.
