I am using one in my 5.0L Tiger, or at least a modification. Summit sells the
metal disc that pop rivets on the back of the impeller for around $6. I
purchased a new water pump, which is the same as the model they use, at the
local McParts store, for about $45.
The metal disc makes the impeller a "Closed Impeller", which is a much more
efficient pump design. Simple, but effective.
I had to remove, and reverse, and repress the hub on the shaft, but not a
problem. The alum pump is very well make.
