Tim, this is excellent advise.  I had an etch prime, and 2 part epoxy
prime, before the body man got the car.  Other friend with dipping had
no etch prime, and body man had to go through entire car, at owners
expense, to prep car. 

A house or car, is only as good as its foundation.
