Listers - I finally got the confidence to take B382001466 up to about 70 mph on a public highway after having her delivered by tow truck 3 months ago. The steering is a little loose. A local and knowledgeable Mk II owner recommended replacing the steering U-joints -- I noticed they're pretty inexpensive from Rick's. Are they difficult to replace? Any special tooling required? Should I be l looking elsewhere to tighten things up? Thanks, Graham B382001466 |
