Tigers,

A Request for Support!

This is a personal request to all the Listers who are mostly readers,
not responders, and I believe absolutely necessary to show whether we
support a friend who has contributed so much.

One of our valued Tiger owners purchased the ADU 180B Le Mans Tiger at
auction and reported on it in an article
http://www.TigersUnited.com/articles/dm-180B/Mountjoy.asp

Darrell Mountjoy has invested his money and his soul in obtaining,
preparing, and flying his car to the Goodwood 2002 Revival (by special
invitation) at his own expense. Not many realize just how MUCH cost,
emotional investment, and effort that was for Darrell, and all the
other well known Tiger people involved.

He posted a quick note with a link to a results page that, frankly, to
me was difficult to comprehend. That's OK, He's in England, and it was a
quickie post. I don't understand the criteria anyway. That information
was the "Posted Official Results", not Darrell's personal report.

I have read, with dismay, a series of seemingly critical postings on
that reference. Certainly everybody has a right to an opinion, but, I
think, most were just confused as to what that page of links meant. I was.

The List comments seem to bounce back and forth and, frankly, could be
viewed by some as negatively inclined. Very negative. To some, almost
personally negative.

The List is large. The active posters are small. It would be a shame if
all the fantastic efforts that Darrell Mountjoy went through were
denigrated by a misunderstanding, or ill meaning postings.

Here is what I would appreciate EVERY Lister would do:

 Reply to this POST.
 Tell our "Tiger World" whether:

A.) You appreciate what has been done by Darrell.
B.) You could care less.
C.) You have no idea who he is, or what he has done.
E.) You think this survey is irresponsible, unnecessary, and let the
flames fly.
F.) Whatever you feel appropriate.

Thank you.

---- and you silent majority - make yourself heard!!!!!

Steve
