As John Logan said you can't drill tempered glass you have it cast that
way.However you can drill laminated glass.I think doing any alteration to
tempered glass is not possible.There was an "old wife's tale" years ago that
said you could cut tempered glass by soaking a wick in gas laying it on the
glass where you wanted to break & lighting it then it would break there.I
have never seen it done & have been involved with a lot of tempered
