I agree that there is reason for concern. My reasons for thinking this is
true is the heating/bending abuse I've given Tiger and MG steering arms
coupled with the absolute confidence of my experienced front end tech. Of
course, it's much better if the arm bends in use than breaks, so maybe they
aren't as strong as they could be if properly annealed, but strong enough in
the case of arms like the Tiger's, which are pretty beefy.
