Mine did Frank when I first got the car. Same thing any time I reached
around 55-60 the steering wheel would shake and the car wanted to wander to
the right. I don't know if your situation will be different but my problem
was the Minilite wheels. After several attempts with wheel balancing (off
the car) and checking the front end alignment(it was OK) I found a small
garage that had been in business for 40 years. They even recognized the
Tiger. After a quick inspection he told me that the problem was my wheels.
Apparently the lug holes on my Minilites are slightly larger than the Tiger
wheel bolts. The wheels were not EXACTLY centered on the bolts, especially
on the front and this caused the high speed vibration.

He had to balance the wheels on the car using chalk marks on the tires and
strobe light to center the spin. Neat to watch this guy work as he would
spin each wheel, stop the wheel loosen and than re-tighten the bolts than
re-spin the wheel. Each time checking for a true spin. He had to do this
several times on each wheel in order to correctly align the wheel to the
Tiger. Some of the wheels only required several adjustments but one wheel
took him at least 5 attempts before he was satisfied. No vibration for the
last two years. Of course he said DON'T remove a wheel or I would be back.
By the way Frank charged me $78. A bargain.

PS How many garages still do it this way?
