Well after the week I have had my lady and I are relaxing, and into our
second bottle of fine Australian wine....I used to live at the bottom of the
Barrosa valley and have a few stashed away. Question, after driving my new to
me
tiger....80 miles an hour or 130 kms which the rest of us use, seems to be
close to 4000 rpms. Now I have not done the tire to driveshaft check
yet....maybe mon... but does this seem high to the rest of you? This is the
speed you
have to do to drive the 400 series hwys' around Toronto the armpit of ontario.
I DO NOT need more acceleration, this thing lites the tires up at every
chance. I also want to keep it close to orginial. If I have a 2.88 what do I
do?
I want to do appox 3000rpm or less at 120 kms....70mph.. and I do not want
to change to a 5 speed..just having a bit of a whinge here but we want to
travel in this car. Anyway next weeks main project is to get a safety check
done
and plate the car so it's legal
