Does Motorcraft make a short filter which will fit the oil filter nipple on
the stock 302/289/260? Number? Length? I am in final assembly of the world's
fastest Sunbeam wannabe and this is a needed item. May go remote later but
for now a shorty will do.

Engine assy is almost done: DSS 306 short block with added main girdle and
windage tray, blower pistons, AFR 205 heads, Cometic head gaskets, Comp Cams
pro comp roller rockers, beehive valve springs, 10 degree valve locks, my
home made efi torker 2 manifold, 42 pound/hr injectors, dual mafs, stock
throttle body, twin T03 turbos. Waiting for PAerformance Automatic pro comp
AOD transmission which should be here before the end of the month. In
process of building up a 3.25 rear gear to replace the lower gared one in
place now. Only a few things left like driver safety suit (same as funny car
driver because of the front blown motor), seat belts, a basic shifter that I
may make myself. A lap top for tuning the tweecer.

Mant thanks to all who have helped me along so far, the lisst mane is on the
side of the car, but specifically to Curt Meinel for his quick help in a
needed par. Curt, the decasl are in work!

Oh, unfortunately the Bonneville Salt Flats are under water from this winter
and spring rains. It may not dry up in time for August meet but maybe for
September.

mayf, out in pahrump
