Back a few years ago Jim Barrett said that he tried them all and the only
one that he found that would do repeated leak proof flares was the tool from
Snap On. I don't remember him giving a part number. I do remember him saying
that it wasn't cheap.
I'm surprised that Rigid would make a tool that double flared. They have
been in business for years doing plumbing tools almost exclusively, but have
lately gotten into other lines of tools. I hadn't seen them advertise anything
automotive that I remember, but sounds now like they do??
