The white wire goes to the fuel pump.  My Tiger had a small  toggle
switch for this wire inside the console.  I got tired of items in  the
console hitting the switch and killing the pump.  So I ran the  wire
through a spare Lucas toggle switch mounted iin the unused
middle hole in the dash. I labelled the switch 'FOG'  So the
three swtiches now say PANEL, FOG, LIGHTS.  Nothing like
hiding in plain sight.
