All of this talk about alternators got me thinking about doing the conversion
on the car.
I think the bracket could easily be modified from a junk car piece through a
little trial and error to get that pullery in line with crank and waterpump.
So if I went with a one wire internal regulated GM unit what else would I need
to do electrically speaking.
I need to remove the regulator but what do I need to do with those wires?
Do I need to install a voltmeter or ammeter in the dash?
If info would be helpful.
