My Brake light switch was failing and I was upgrading all of the light
to LED replacement bulbs. The curious thing is that while I was waiting
for the new sending unit I changed the bulbs to the LED and since they
need less power to operate they worked great. I now have the new brake
light switch but it is not installed as I have not seen the need yet.
Just a thought for all of you as the LED bulbs are FAR brighter and may
be much softer on these delicate sending units.
