I stopped by to take a quick look at this car. It appears to be a nice
older restoration and seems to be pretty complete and original,
including the below dash radio. It does not look like new, but is very
presentable and started and idled OK. This shop specializes in Austin
Healeys and Jags, and say they took the Tiger in on trade fron a guy in
New Foundland, Canada. They mentioned that they replaced some metal in
the floors, but I didn't check it that closely. The dash looked great.
The interior should clean up nicely. If you like originality and a
little patina on a car you can drive and enjoy, this car would fit the
bill. I'd have to look a lot closer to find structural issues, but I
didn't see any obvious signs of rust problems.

A few years ago, I would have pegged this as a $25k car, so with the
recent appreciation of Tigers, $49.9k is not crazy high, but without a
much more rigorous inspection, I'd cap it @ ~$40k. If it turns out to
be an exceptionally solid car, there's headroom from there. Of course I
guessed the Lampert car would be not sold for $79k.
