Try spending lots of hours at 4 AM fixing problems caused by folks
who don't have a clue what they're doing, and do it without pay
or any other compensation other than the satisfaction of helping
fellow car enthusiasts, only to hear complaints from a few "loudmouths"
when you attempt to make your own life a little easier and then let
me know if that statement is still ironic.
Don't get me wrong, Joe Simcoe has provided some useful input to
the mailing list and this isn't directed at him personally (but he
has done nowhere near as much for the list as mjb, without whom
there'd be no list at all) and it would be a shame to lose Joe over
this. However, the digest works quite well and isn't a cause for
all this whining; in fact, I prefer the digest since it filters
the multiple copies of messages that some folks always seem to
generate.
