Just rebuilt my brake master cylinder (large cap, plastic, tandem type)
today and upon pricing kits fro rebuild I found them to be in the $35-45
dollar range plus shipping for original Girling parts. I found a kit at
my neghborhood NAPA parts store, part #907, for around $18! The kit
contains all the seals inside, gaskets from the cylinder to reservoir,
new tipping valve assembly & spring washer, and the external boot near
the end of the pushrod that attaches to the pedal. Everything went
together great with it, and it comes with DOT 4 compatible brake grease
for assembly. Just thought I would pass this along to the list in case
anybody is contemplating a rebuild...
