Hi fellow Listers,As International Liaison Secretary of the Triumph Sports
Six Club,
One of my tasks is to write a,hopefully,interesting,monthly column for our
Club publication,the Courier magazine,sent all around the round world,to our
family of 16,000 triumph enthusiasts.One way I try to make my pages,about 5-6
per month,more interesting is to include photos of far-flung triumph cars.
I also try to keep it topical,reporting events both shortly forthcoming and
recently past,coupled with restoration stories and tales of triumph based
daring-do...such as are either sent to me,or researched by me.In Wintertime,I
usually run short of material,because I use up my backlog,and in the Summer I
may have a bit of a surfeit.Recently,I have received quite a collection of
photos from TSSC & Tyee Triumph club member,Dan Stewart of Mercer
Island,WA.,great stuff,all gorgeous triumphs.These photos were taken over the
last 15 years or so,at the May ABM in Vancouver,BC,and in July at the
ABM,Bellevue Washington & at the Sept meet at Portland,Oregon.What I require
of you guys & gals,is help identfying the owners of these triumphs,so I may
give them credit,where credit is due for preserving such fine 'vintage'
autos!A little difficult without your being able to see them,but not
impossible!

My goodness,there were more than I thought,I'm so sorry to 'bomb' the list
like this,
but if you recognise either you or your friends' licence/registration numbers
above,
please let me know a)the name of the owner, b)the name of their home town
c)which triumph club they belong to/if any.,that is quite sufficient to give
them credit below the photo of their car in our magazine.
Finally,a question? I am trying to find out exactly which model year Spitfire
Mk.3 got the special RAF roundel hood/bonnet badge,because Graham Robson
contradicts himself in two of his own books,in one he says 1969 and in
another,1970!!!
