I checked the spot you described on my GT6+ and there are two freeze plugs
side by side in that location. I'm no expert on the TR6 but I remember
reading that both cars shared the same head design with diffrent compression
ratios depending on where it was shipped (US or UK). The TRF spare parts
catalog shows two freeze plugs in that location on the TR6 head. Hope this
helps.
