Wow! After three months of hard work, today was my first outing in my 72 TR6.
I bought it in late winter and rode it to my shop (about 1 KM). I renovated
the car and it looks quite nice , thank you. The Monzas are nice but
loud... If they become a nuisance, I'll add some resonators on the exhaust
pipe. The ride is hard, new coils and shocks are on the way, I bought new
bushings for the front suspension. There is still plenty to do, but now the
car is functionnal and the rest of the stuff I can do later, a little bit
every now and then...
The engine misses under hard acceleration, electricals are OK. I think it's
carb related. Is there an easy way of cleaning an obstructed carb?
