Is the sound a rhythmic sound that corresponds with car speed, or is it a
random clunking? If it's speed related, you may still have a U-joint
problem. U-joints can bind as they turn, and the only way to check them
is off the car, rotating them through their entire moveable range--that
can't be checked with the axles on the car. Did you also replace the prop
shaft U-joints?

If it's just a single knock as weight shifts under deceleration, start
looking for worn bushings or lower trunions. Also check the trailing arm
attachments to the tub.

Good luck,
