This is a common failure on the repro TR4 pumps, but
the OEM ones had circlips to prevent this.  One of the
reasons I snapped up an OEM pump when I found one (that
and the priming lever, and the re-buildability).  The
accepted "fix" for the repro is to peen the pin.
