Hey all,
Well...I've been a '69 GT6 owner for a while now and where I'm from, there
aren't namy Triumphs out there. I had the chance on the weekend to try out
a 71 TR6. Here are my impressions:
Although the TR6 has a bigger engine, it didn't seem to accelerate as much
as my GT6. Also, the handling felt a lot looser. I figured that it would
be tight, the 15" give a good ride though. The first thing I noticed were
the brakes! Wow...that booster really does the trick, and the brakes are
actually quite powerfull. I also loved the overdrive in the TR6, as well as
the interior. It seemed a lot more 'usable' than my GT6.
Anyhow, I really enjoyed the experience and would not hesite one minute to
purchase a TR6.
