Hey all,

The assembly phase is proceeding nicely. I was tighting the bolts for
the rear-hubs last night and I could determine what to torque them to.
The Bently manual says 90-120 lbs! Nevermind that there is no room to
get the torque wrench in there (even with the body off!) but these are
3/8 inch bolts were talking about here. Every where else I'm using 3/8
inch blots the manual says to torque to 30-40 lbs. WHat is the correct
number?

I also ordered a set of the special drive-shaft bolts from TRF. I
though they would be grade 5 or better. After looking at the bolts I
called TRF to ask what was special about them so I could determine which
of the bolts I had needed replacing. I was told these bolts are not
grade 5 or better. What makes them special seems to be that the bolts
isn't threaded all the way down to the head, so that it fits tight in the
whole in the yoke (correct term?).

Later,
JHD IV
