I thought my version of this problem was due to the faulty oil pressure
switch and/or anti-runon valve as discussed in the thread. Upon further
examination it turned out my glove box light was staying on all the time
cause the switch had dislodged from it's mount.

You may wish to check this kind of stuff out first...
