Mike,
I've replace both pieces. For the window seal I spliced together
two front window seals. I used the original rear window seal
for sizing. I cut the seals at a diagonal to increase the surface
area for the joint and used a glue I purchased at a auto glass place.
If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't bother with the diagonal
splice. I got the two front window seals from Moss. The whole
thing turned out great. I attempted to insert the glass myself and
gave up. I ended up taking it to a auto glass shop, they charged me
$20. Considering the difficulty of replacing the glass if I broke it,
it seemed well worth the money.
For the door/over the top seal, if that's the other part you're refering
to, I used the non-fuzzy sold by the foot stuff. One continus strip.
I think it was about 12' long. There is a similiar piece mounted to
the surrey top interior. I haven't replaced that, as it's in good condition.

As for J.C.Whitner, you can do better elsewhere and you won't get
their catalogue every month for life.
